Sorry it's been a minute, in the middle of buying a home, and I must say it's hard to find the perfect home! But we did it, always go with your "gut feeling" and your heart :). Key factors: find a good mortgage consultant & a well known realtor! If you've serve or have a spouse that's in the service, take the VA route...we were able to get away with only paying $1700, to move in and it's a beautiful home (pictures coming soon).
